Mike, president of Nakodo Consulting Inc., joined the team at AVAC in July 2000. His main role is to facilitate the connection of new venture developers with the knowledge needed to help their innovative ideas grow agrivalue. Mike’s expertise includes agrifood export market development, entrepreneurship, marketing, and networking skills. He was a member of the inaugural graduating class of the Canadian Agriculture Lifetime Leadership program and currently serves on the Agriculture and Food Council, the Western Agri-Food Institute, is active in the Ag Summit process and sits on the board of two international consulting firms.
