Steve is a chartered accountant and operates his own accounting and consulting firm out of Medicine Hat, Alberta, with clients across Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan.

A very significant part of Steve’s practice is devoted to helping agricultural clients. He becomes involved in a wide range of services ranging from annual reporting and tax planning, to financial analysis and restructuring of existing farm businesses, to strategic and business planning for.

Steve writes a monthly column for The Western Producer that deals with farm specific applications of the computer, and other timely farm management issues. He is also currently under contract to write a book dealing with tax planning for farm and ranch businesses.

Steve speaks regularly at a variety of venues across Western Canada. 

Steve loves spending any free time with his wife, Sherri, and daughter, Julia.
